I found my pittie in a similar way Holtman’s Modern Donut Sign shirt . Took my rotties to a park for their nightly walk and there he was all alone. Couldn’t find his people so we kept him. One of the best decisions of my life. Come to find out pitties were banned in my county in MD. Found that out accidentally by the dog warden who gave us a week to get rid of him. That was never an option. Long story short, I resigned from my teaching job, sold my house and moved my family to PA where they don’t ban/label breeds. Then I rescued another pittie. We had a pittie in Laurel MD (PG County) and we had our vet register her as a Rhodesian ridgeback/lab mix. We’ve since moved to Baltimore but we would have done the same thing if they tried to make us get rid of our pup. Kudos to you for doing that!
